TikTok Goes Down: Over 32,000 Users Report Problems :-
TikTok had a major outage this week, leaving thousands of users frustrated. More than 32,000 people in the U.S reported issues with the popular app on Thursday, May 15.
Problems started around 4:15 p.m. (EDT) and peaked shortly after. Many users said the app wouldn’t load properly. Some saw blank screens, videos with zero likes or views, or couldn’t log in at all.
Most of the complaints were about the mobile app, while others reported server issues. Cities like New York, Houston, Seattle, and Washington D.C. were among the most affected.
Tik Tok hasn’t shared an official reason for the outage yet, but things slowly started working again after a few hours.During the downtime, people flooded other social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to vent and post memes, showing just how much people rely on TikTok daily whether for fun, work, or staying connected.This glitch was a reminder of how much we depend on apps and how quickly people notice when something goes wrong.
